What to Expect: Your Ayon™ Procedure Day

A clear, step-by-step guide for your Vive Aesthetica patient portal or procedure page

1. Arrival & Mapping

Your journey begins with a detailed “mapping” session. Your surgeon will mark the specific zones for fat removal and skin tightening while you are standing. This ensures anatomical precision that isn’t possible while lying down.

2. Comfort First (Numbing)

Depending on the size of the area, we use Local Anesthesia or Twilight Sedation.

  • Small incisions (about the size of a freckle) are made.

  • A specialized tumescent solution is infused. This “numb and prep” fluid minimizes bruising and makes fat removal much easier.

3. The Ayon™ Transformation

The procedure is performed in two synchronized steps:

  • The Sculpt: Using ultrasound-assisted liposuction, we gently break down and remove unwanted fat cells.

  • The Tighten: The Ayon™ helium plasma probe is inserted into the same tiny incisions. You may hear a soft “crackling” sound—this is the helium plasma working beneath the skin to instantly contract the tissue fibers.

4. Post-Procedure & "The Glow"

The actual treatment typically takes 1 to 2 hours.

  • Immediate Exit: Because we use minimally invasive techniques, you’ll be ready to head home shortly after the procedure.

  • The Garment: You will be fitted with a medical-grade compression garment. This is the “secret sauce” to ensuring your skin heals perfectly to your new, tighter contours.

The Recovery Timeline

  • Days 1–3: You may feel like you’ve had a heavy workout. Minor drainage from the tiny incisions is normal.

  • Day 7: Most patients return to desk work and light activities.

  • Weeks 4–6: Swelling subsides significantly, and your “new” silhouette begins to emerge.

  • Months 3–6: While contraction is instant, your body continues to build new collagen, meaning your results actually improve over the first half-year.

Pro-Tip

“We recommend a series of Lymphatic Drainage Massages starting one week after your Ayon™ procedure. This helps flush out any remaining fluid and ensures the smoothest possible result.”
